We lay Patios correctly, when we install your patio, path or new drive it's installed to last, excavation and the sub base are not seen when finished, do this wrong and the nice new patio will not stay looking good for very long.
This is very important especially on a driveway, the base has to have a good depth of hard-core and well compacted, the correct amount of sand or mortar beds, then the correct spacing, do the patio / path spacing wrong and your joints will have problems.
Pictured above is a bespoke shed and log store we built for our Client, they wanted the paving butt jointed so we purchased square sided paving slabs which enabled us to lay them with no joints, this paticular paving has natural very hard wearing stone chips embeded and a semi rough surface nice appeal with a non slip element. The shed was built using 4 x 2 treated timber, lined with breathable felt, exteranally claded with Hardi-Plank, (A cement based board that will last a long time), fitted with a 1.5mm one piece Rubber roof that should also last a very long time.
All types of paving laid, Man made and natural stone such as... Porcelain / Sandstone / Slate / Granite and more, traditional pointing or coloured joints can be done to match or compliment your new patio / paving. When laying natural stone paving it's very important to fully bed the stones as the old dot and line beds will create water staining and unsightly patches on the surface of your Indian sandstone and other natural stone paving products.
We can build / design an outbuilding for you, this could be a store, maybe a garden office or just somewhere to have a relaxing G & T, we have built bespoke garden offices fully insulated and wired, if space is a premium in the house or you just prefer working in the peaceful setting of your garden, we would like to help you achieve this goal, call us today for a no obligation, no pushy salesmen appointment to discuss your requirements.
The other angle view, as you can see from the two photos the path sloped both ways, one side to the grass and linen line, the other to a matching patio.
Below is a photo view of the rubber roof and more paving to the car block paved hard stand at the rear of the property, as you can see the shed and path are under construction, hard-core in place ready for the Concrete slope to accept the finished paving.
We are a small family run company, we undertake small to medium size work, we work on domestic properties mainly and do small to medium size works for the commercial industry, i trained to be a bricklayer and started my first business in 1975 in my home town Plymouth, I moved to Suffolk in 1989 and re branded my business accordingly, they were manic years because of the storms and the business took off with lots of unfortunate customers needing storm damage property repairs, I could have grown the company much larger but preferred to keep it small, by doing this I know exactly what sort of work my clients are getting and have full control.
